v2.0 — AI task creation is live

Tasks, states,
time. Tracked.

The offline-first task manager for people who outgrew checkboxes. Custom states beyond TODO/DONE, recurring habits, automatic time tracking, custom properties like calories or pages — and AI that builds tasks from a photo or a sentence.

/01 — capabilities

Built for how work actually moves.

A to-do list flattens reality. To-Track keeps the texture: a task can be waiting, blocked, paused, mid-set. You decide what the states mean, the app keeps the receipts.

A · custom states

More than TODO and DONE.

Define your own states — BLOCKED, WAITING, REVIEW, REPS — with tag-based transition rules. Every change writes to the timeline.

B · streaks
47 days

Habits that hold.

Streak tracking on any recurring task — daily, weekly, custom rrule. One slip doesn't reset the season.

C · offline-first
0ms

No spinners. No account.

Everything is local. Open the app on a flight, on the subway, on a mountain — it just works.

D · ai capture (pro)

Snap a whiteboard. Get tasks.

Drop a photo, paste a meeting note, or describe your day in plain English. To-Track parses it into structured tasks with tags, properties, and due dates.

E · time tracking

Hours that count themselves.

When a task enters IN-PROGRESS, the clock starts. The timeline shows every transition, every gap, every retry.

F · recurring

Three ways to repeat.

  • One-time — single completion, archived.
  • Any-time — habit you do when you can.
  • Scheduled — full rrule. Daily, weekdays, every other Tuesday.
/02 — hierarchies

Parent-child tasks that close themselves.

Build a release like you'd build a tree. When the last child is DONE, the parent flips DONE. Start a child, the parent wakes up.

/03 — properties

Track anything you can name.

Custom numeric and enum properties on any task. Reps, mood, calories, distance, grade. Aggregate them into charts, or just look at them later.

/04 — smart lists

Filters that survive Monday.

Build a saved view by chaining tags, states, properties, and time windows. Or describe one in plain English and let the AI assemble it.

/07 — get the app

Open it once. You'll know.

Install on iPhone or iPad. No sign-up screen, no onboarding tunnel — your first task is one tap away.

/08 — questions

Things people ask before they install.

Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start. Pro unlocks AI features through a single in-app purchase — no email signup required for the free tier.
Where does my data live?
Locally, in a SQLite database on your device. Pro AI calls send only the prompt & image you choose to share, and never store your task history server-side. Cross-device sync is on the roadmap and will be opt-in.
What's actually different from Things, Reminders, or Todoist?
Three things. Custom states — your tasks aren't binary, so the app isn't either. Built-in time tracking — the moment you flip a task IN-PROGRESS, hours start counting. Honest offline-first — no auth wall, no server round-trip, no degraded experience on a plane.
When are Android, macOS, Windows and Linux coming?
Android closed beta opens Q3 2026. macOS is being built alongside iOS as a universal target. Windows and Linux follow after that. The same Flutter engine ports cleanly — the holdup is design parity and platform-native polish, not engineering.
